I was rear ended by one of their "clients" - every since then I have made muliple calls to their customer services line, the adjuster-Patricia Bergette and her Supervisor, Micheal Mulligan NONE OF WHICH ANSWERS their phone or returns phone calls and when Patricia actually called back (once after approx 10 messages left) she is rude and condescending- this accident was NOT my fault but Affirmative sure treats you like it is. Finally talked to her supervisor 5/1/12 to let him know I need another ajuster and he stated there was NO one else and I only could dealy with rude Patricia--what kind of customer services is that. He then states she is on the phone/ will call me back--NEVER DID. This is the worse insurance company I have every dealt with and I would advise anyone to take a really close look before using this agency for ANYTHING.
Why is this company allowed to stay in business since they are obviously a FRAUD!!!
Just plain slow. Claims adjusters for this company take their sweet time. Missed appointment at the body shop because these people don't answer their phones or return calls. Took several weeks to get my claim check. Third rate company. Poor poor poor
2 weeks since their "client" ran a yield sign and rammed me and they are still looking at pictures and getting statements??
My car was rammed in the side (while parked at a school-to pick up a child). The lady backed out of a parking space and hit my car in the side. The police came out and he filed an accident report that the other woman was at fault. This happened on 12-7-11 and this is 1-18-12 and no results after a fax and 2 calls.Says they will call within 24 hrs. Fraud..Don't use this ins.
The insurance will do an internet search to find a random person to blame a accident
This is a awful insurance company, they don't answer phone calls, and intensional delay the reply as some of their policy holder in fact don't have valid insurance. The police office will not check whether the insurance is valid or not, but few days after accident, they will tell you that the insurance is invalid. But the driver already run away.
Customer Service is awful. They won't answer phones, and then put you on hold instead of taking a # and calling you back with an answer. The billing section makes no sense as to why they bill the way they do. Would not recommend this company to anyone for ANYTHING! They don't deserve a star at all.
Affirmative Insurance is the best insurance I have ever delt with. I was a victim of a deer accident and as soon as I reported my accident and immediately they took action to getting my car fixed. I worked with a gentleman named Vo, and was very pleased with my service. Thanks again Affirmative Insurance my family and I appreciate the hard work!

On Feb 7th of 2011, this company had an insured customer that ran an intersection and knocked the front end off of my car being driven by my daughter. Luckily my daughter stopped in time to just get the front end knocked off. Had she not stopped, the car would have been hit directly in the door causing bodily injury to my daughter and the passenger. Now it's March 8th, a month later and this company wants to only cover 80% of this accident because they claim my daughter was partly to blame. AGAIN, she stopped just 4 short of getting hit it the door. They have completely blown me off! The customer service is simply the worse I have ever dealt with in all my years in customer service. Think again before getting your policy here! You will be glad you shopped around.
