Milemeter Insurance Company Reviews: 5 Reviews

I drive about 1800 miles a year and really enjoyed saving money on car insurance. It was great while it lasted, but the new rates are more than what I paid at my old provider. Goodbye mileagemeter!
MileMeter now requires purchasing 6000 miles per vehicle up front for each 6 month period. This is about as dumb as you can get, and totally negates any reason to go with MileMeter; conventional policies are now vastly cheaper and have no mileage limitations. If the MileMeter stockholders have any sense, they will FIRE the CEO & idiots responsible for this new stupitity that will scuttle the company in short order.
I guess they want to go out of business. I drive few miles on one car, and my mother drives even fewer. They have lost 2 customers. I guess they either want to go out of business or start moving to traditional insurance company.
I agree with William the new 4000 mile minimum policy is a joke, they built this company on the premise of being able to buy a policy for low mileage drivers, I drive approx 800 miles every 6 months but am now forced to buy a 4000 mile policy at a 400% increase!
The new policy requirements of 4k+ miles are no longer a savings. Why would anyone pay for limited miles when you can get the same rate or cheaper for an unlimited plan?
