Senior Life Insurance Company

I have no idea what sort of company SLIC is, but if you base the integrity of their products on their advertisements one would have to say they are deceptive and probably not to be trusted. No one under the age of 18 can legally sign any sort of binding contract without the consent of a parent or guardian. I'm sure that fact holds true in every state they (SLIC) are supposedly licensed to operate. Yet they advertise to "85 and younger" on TV and "0 to 85" on their Website. They shouldn't be allowed to advertise directly to minors this way.

Its always funny to me how agents who dont make it in the business bad mouth the companies they worked for. Whether it be McDonalds, or Senior life. Its always someone elses fault. I dont even work for this company, but I do know, that a company that has no integrity, wouldnt last. And they have been around a while and obviously doing very well. And I do know agents that work over there and do very well also, so quit making excuses for your lack of work ethic!Go to work and get it done! Stop bad mouthing someone else, because you are a weak person who should get out of this industry all together! And again, I do not even work for these guys! But it just annoys me to read these reviews.

Wow, I am really surprised of these comments. I have been with this company for three months, and the people in GA are so nice. Everyone talks about personal development and growth. I have had to make many calls to the home office, and never had an issue. Within the last two months several agents in our agency have gone to visit home office, and have attended special events. No one has had a negative complaint. If you worked for this company you know they cover anyoone age 0-85. You have the option of choosing your market. You do not have to sell to seniors. Regardless of what company you are with, the cost is going to be high for seniors. I have 9 years in the industry, and made more money in 3 months then i did in 9 working with the other company. Regardless of what company you choose to be with the bottom line is keeping your integrity. Don't sell anything to anyone that you would not have for yourself or your love one. It's not about getting rich quick. I Love working for Senior Life Insurance Company.

Horrible company! They are also some of the most racist people I have ever meet. They pray on the poor and elderly. Average agent last about 3 months. So don't expect very good customer service. They pray on the poor people of this town and the elderly all over the country...it's horrible! Evil people with no business ethics what so ever!

Former top producing agent that worked for them for 3 years. They basically show off all their money while the agents suffer and don't make hardly any money. I don't know how they treat the business we write for them, but from what I have read - not any better than they treat their agents.

These people do not train their agents properly. The powell family makes all the commissions, as the average agent only stays 6 mos.

This company is selling insurance that is useless. They will sell the insurance saying that you qualify but they will not pay if you have a condition after you die. They also do not have qualified claims agents, they have no experience with medical terms or proper training! This company is the worse insurance company there is. They advertise that they sell whole life insurance but in fact it is final expense that is a lot higher. They are after senior citizens money and they do not care about customer service. The Don Powell is a crook and an evil person. They built their new building with products from China and illegal Mexican workers that have no green cards. Consumers beware of this company!!! The Federal and state government needs to investigate this company because of all the illegal activities that this company does.

Terrible company run by a nasty family. They abuse their staff and walk away, filthy rich.
