This company sucks!!!

On hold for long periods of time waiting for someone to answer. I called four different times to have a change of beneficence form mailed to me. I was told it was mailed out on 2/27/12. I'm still waiting 3 weeks later, but I did get the monthly bill!!

I've had this Union Fidelity Life Ins policy - through AAA auto club membership - for about 15 years. ALL of the reviews printed here are absolutely factual. Here's my experience: after 42 minutes on hold (to their 800#), I asked why my bill doesn't have the usual payment options (monthly, quarterly, etc). Was told by UFLI rep to "pay whatever amount you wish." Yea, right! and be cancelled! When I responded by saying that the bill calls for a due date for the entire amount, and that I didn't want to be considered late, or be cancelled for non-payment, the rep repeated the "pay whatever" line. I then asked her if the company has anything in writing stating the bill could be paid in installments, as before, the rep said "No, just pay whatever you'd like." I then asked the rep if she could have the payment policy sent to me; she (reluctantly) stated that she "can send it out to you, but it won't get to you for at least two weeks." (???AND??) I requested that it be sent anyway. A full month-and-a half later, I get the same exact bill in the mail, same (now old) due date. These people are nobody you want to send your hard-earned money to - RUN!!!!!

I have tried calling this company for 2 weeks and have been on hold for 30 minutes at the time each day. If I ever am able to talk to anyone, I am going to be ugly. This is unreal.

If you are considering this company save yourself a great deal of aggravation. They do not answer their phones promptly and their customer service in general is really terrible!

No way to look up information regarding policy.

Horrible company. Repeatedly on hold then just hangs up. No website to get information from.

Received notice that DRIASI will be handling all claims. Didn't receive notice from you. Called and got confirmation of transition from you. Thanks for the prompt attention.

oh hold for 30 min. premium notice 'new amount due to a change in your plan', i did not change anything, but price went from 32.75 to 191.60!!! good bye!!

LOVE it when the 1 866 629 6899 number UNION Fidelity lists on thier website refers you to a PORNO PHONE LINE! Also, been on hold for 30 minutes. Cannot get thru!! POOR, POOR SERVICE

Love it when a company send you a notice for payment and no website or address is listed on the invoice! How does a family find information when or if needed.

This company has proposed that an obit be required as proof on the number of children a deceased person has left behind. There are no investigations into the factual data reported in an obituary leading to possible erroneous listings. According to several funeral homes, many family do not post an obit for an elderly relative who's family has preceeded him in death. I told the claims rep that my father has a will listing the 3 children (who are his only children) to whom all of his wordly possessions were to be passed to and they didn't seem remotely interested. It appears that perhaps this company's employees could be retrained in how to console family members who are trying to meet the many requirements of the state and local county pertaining to taxation and proper documentation for purposes of recording inheritance funds. I am not finished and will seek the assistance of the State of California regarding their archaic requirements. Sincerely, Karen Kiekow
