I have been on hold for over two hours. I have typed six reports and still on hold. The funny thing is.... I went to lunch and I am still on hold. I DO NOT LIKE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! It should receive a negative five-----
How and why would anyone use this company with the many life insurane companies in existence. Their staff is rude, doesn't allow you to speak and cuts you off so quickly you can't stand to talk with them. Obviously they don't value nor care about their customers. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. No one should be treated so poorly merely for making an inquiry. Glad this not my insurance company, if it was I would switch very quickly.
What is the cost to get a replacement copy of an Insurance Policy with United Insurance. Thank You
NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. I am going to report them to the better business bureau and the local television stations.. This is a disaster. Been trying to call for 2 months now.

Run as fast as you can from this company. I manage operations for a company and would have never bought this policy due to the lack of knowledge, payout way to long. Now with another company, unfortunately anothe loss in the family. Received payout and death certificate within days. Yes i was glad to pay a higher premium it was worth it. Being cheap does not pay in the long run. Get out while you can. Would not recommend this company to anyone. not even the poorest of the poor
Thank you all for your opinion on this company. I hope the some of the executives and employees read all the reviews and make some changes to how they run their company. I will not send my money to these people. I want my family to be paid on time if something happens to me.
why is everything so negative about the company. maybe if some of you "customers" should get up from your behinds and drive to the district office. pay your insurance ontime or be approachable that way your agents can better serve you. this is a home service company and your agents are really salesman, not collectors but individuals who sale insurance to replace others who run late and or lapse. this why this company is dead rich! stay on top of your payments by following up the district office with the administrators, the home office personnel have delays and attitude problems as well.

Oh my goodness, my mother has passws and have my son insured for a very small amount which we want to surrender and waiting on thephone for hours to connect with someone we are still waiting for porms to file. I will be calling everyday. Has anyone fike a class action suit on this company?
This company is notorious for passing the buck.Our payment due date is the 2nd of each month. We have been late receiving the statements. They have been arriving on the 4th or 5th of the month. I called the local office and was told the statements are computer generated at another office and than sent to the local office to be mailed to the policyholder. I called the office in St. Louis, MO and was told the statements are computer generated in Charlotte, NC and mailed directly to the policyholder 30 days in advance. No one could answer why we are not receiving the statements in a timely manner.WHAT IS THE TRUTH?

I was laid off from work, missed 3 payments and United canceled my policy. Even when i offered to pay two payments. Now i have a job and no life insurance. United is very unprofessional,they are only about the money......that's so sad no wonder people talks bad about your company.

I agree that this company is very diffficult to deal with. I have had trouble since my mother's death in 06/11. It took two months to pay the claim and I still have not received the death certificate I requested in writing to be returned to me. I have also requested a withdrawal form, a beneficiary change form, and a confirmed appointment date with my agent that she did not keep or call to cancel. My policies are paid on time but they don't seem to care about the people, just pay the policy timely. This is the worse insurance company that I have had the misfortune to have dealings with.

This company is the pits and I advise anyone not to get this insurance. My son died in August, 2011 and as of today's date I have not received a penny from the company. They are giving me a run around just to pay on simple life insurance much less the accidental death portion. They do not even have the courtesy to send a letter of condolence. Premiums are paid on time, therefore, claims should be paid on time. Funeral expenses are not cheap

This company should be ashamed. My friend's son died and they have made her jump through hoop after hoop obviously hoping that she'd give up on the claim. She has been through hell with her son's loss and now this company has made it even worse by making this process so much more difficult than it should be. The money she would get is nothing to a company this size, but everything to the three children she is now helping to support due to the loss of their father. This company is all that is bad about the insurance industry and big corporations. Get your insurance elsewhere if you can!
