Life Insurance Policies

Fidelity Security offers a number of life insurance policies: term life, juvenile life, young adult whole life, senior whole life and critical period mortgage life.

  • Term life is available to adults under the age of 75 and includes plans that cover spouses and children, offer accelerated death benefits and discounts.
  • Juvenile Life Insurance is available to children under 21 years of age.
  • Young Adult Whole Life Insurance offers life insurance with the option to save for college or post-secondary education as well as other needs that may arise in the future.
  • Senior Whole Life is available for people between 45 and 75 years of age. There are some additional benefits including cash value accumulations and accidental death.
  • Critical Period Mortgage Life gives the family time to grieve before having to make important financial decisions following the death of the policyholder.

Health Insurance Policies

Fidelity Security offers indemnity plans as well as vision, cancer, dental and drug plans.
A Limited Medical Indemnity policy is an alternative to major medical health insurance. It is an low cost option employers can utilize to offer their employees who do not have medical insurance.

There are several basic plans available. Benefits include office visits, wellness visits, diagnostic procedures and outpatient testing. A Hospital Indemnity Plan helps cover the cost of a hospital stay as a result of an illness or accident.
The Out of Pocket Expense Coverage plan is a group policy for hospital confinement. It helps with expenses not covered by the employee’s major medical insurance policy.

The Excess Loss Medical Insurance policy is especially created for employer groups who are self insured.
Vision Insurance offers benefit plans for eye exams, glasses and contacts.
Cancer Plan covers expenses related to cancer treatments in and out of the hospital. Some of the benefits include chemotherapy, blood and plasma, private duty nurse, home health care, ambulance, hospice care, transportation and family lodging accommodations.

Dental Insurance policies are available for both groups and individual though benefits vary depending on size of group. The plans include preventive care, basic care and major care services as well as optional orthodontia services.
Hearing plans are available for groups only and cover hearing exams and hearing assistance devices.
LASIK indemnity plans are available for groups only. The plan offers a one time benefit of up to $600 for any type of lasik surgery.

Retail Prescription Drug Plan helps cover the cost of outpatient prescription drugs. The plans include brand and generic drugs or generic drugs only. The plans are only available for groups.

AFLAC and Fidelity Security Life are two popular insurance companies that offer a wide range of supplemental insurance policies. Though both companies offer plans for both the individual and groups, AFLAC caters to the individual while Fidelity Security caters to group policies.
