    On Feb 7th of 2011, this company had an insured customer that ran an intersection and knocked the front end off of my car being driven by my daughter. Luckily my daughter stopped in time to just get the front end knocked off. Had she not stopped, the car would have been hit directly in the door causing bodily injury to my daughter and the passenger.

    Now it’s March 8th, a month later and this company wants to only cover 80% of this accident because they claim my daughter was partly to blame. AGAIN, she stopped just 4 short of getting hit it the door. They have completely blown me off!

    The customer service is simply the worse I have ever dealt with in all my years in customer service. Think again before getting your policy here! You will be glad you shopped around.

    Affirmative Insurance is the best insurance I have ever dealt with.

    I was a victim of a deer accident and as soon as I reported my accident and immediately they took action to getting my car fixed. I worked with a gentleman named Vo, and was very pleased with my service.

    Customer Service is awful.

    They won’t answer phones, and then put you on hold instead of taking a # and calling you back with an answer. The billing section makes no sense as to why they bill the way they do.

    Would not recommend this company to anyone for ANYTHING! They don’t deserve a star at all.

    This is an awful insurance company, they don’t answer phone calls, and intentional delay the reply as some of their policy holder, in fact, don’t have valid insurance.

    The police office will not check whether the insurance is valid or not, but few days after accident, they will tell you that the insurance is invalid. But the driver already ran away.

    My car was rammed in the side (while parked at a school to pick up a child). The lady backed out of a parking space and hit my car on the side. The police came out and he filed an accident report that the other woman was at fault.

    This happened on 12-7-11 and this is 1-18-12 and no results after a fax and 2 calls. Says they will call within 24 hrs.

    Fraud..Don’t use this ins.

    Just plain slow. Claims adjusters for this company take their sweet time.

    Missed appointment at the body shop because these people don’t answer their phones or return calls. Took several weeks to get my claim check. Third rate company.

    I was rear ended by one of their “clients” – every since then I have made multiple calls to their customer services line, the adjuster-Patricia Bergette and her Supervisor, Micheal Mulligan NONE OF WHICH ANSWERS their phone or returns phone calls and when Patricia actually called back (once after approx 10 messages left) she is rude and condescending- this accident was NOT my fault but Affirmative sure treats you like it is.

    Finally talked to her supervisor 5/1/12 to let him know I need another adjuster and he stated there was NO one else and I only could deal with rude Patricia–what kind of customer services is that. He then states she is on the phone/ will call me back–NEVER DID.

    This is the worse insurance company I have every dealt with and I would advise anyone to take a really close look before using this agency for ANYTHING.

    This company is not a credited company to be insured with.

    I recently got into an accident where the other insurance Allstate stated that their customer is not at fault even though he was. When I filed a claim with my insurance affirmative insurance a claim rep then contacted me named Hugo Jaramillo contact number 972-728-3525 where he pretty much told me that they will not be fighting for me with Allstate to pay my damages and either I pay my deductible of $1000 dollar which doubles if you experience an accident within the first 30 days of having the insurance (this is not disclose anywhere).

    so we are talking about a $2000 deductible or be S.O.L (s*** out of luck)and pay out of pocket. The claims agent pretty much didn’t care and blew me off and just ended the call by saying we will just send you a letter to tell you we decline your coverage.

    I MEAN REALLY? YOU CALL THIS HELP AND INSURANCE COVERAGE. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS STEALING MONEY B****** TO ANYONE. THIS COMPANY MUST GO OUT OF BUSINESS.

    I was in an automobile accident. I was a passenger and I was injured with hip and back injuries. I was rushed to the ER and I spent two days in the hospital after being discharged.

    I then had to start receiving chiropractic treatments I had 18 treatments. I then was released. I called in my claim the insurance company is full of shit my accident was in may on the 23rd day 2013.

    I’ve been done with my treatments since June 23rd the haven’t made me one offer they keep on telling me they waiting on witness it’s been months I was the passenger who was hurt in a car with one of their insurance holders the said that he was in the wrong

    I had this insurance they have horrible customer service they are rude and have no clue about this company. They have no sympathy for their insurers and they say they will pay for your car but then they find out a way not to pay.

    This company is a rip off it might be cheap but if you get in an accident THEY WILL NOT PAY THEY ARE LIARS!

    I would give this company 0 stars.

    My car was damaged by one of their clients …. it took them 2 weeks to get in contact with him and get an adjuster to contact me. They give all sorts of excuses for their unethical business practices – even blaming each other.

    They are slow paying and in talking to repair shop and gm dealership, Affirmative Auto Ins. has the reputation of doing this to them and people all the time.

    I don’t use this insurance company and would not recommend them to anybody! BEWARE! NOT GOOD!

    I was hit by one of their clients and she lied to them and now they denied my claim without even sending someone out to investigate. They said based on both sides of the story and the one picture she sent them that they have enough “evidence” to deny my claim.

    Very, very, sorry insurance. Huge rip-off.

    Worst company ever.

    My car was hit by someone they insured who did not have a license. Took my car to a shop 2/12/14 and as of today I still do not have it back 3/10/14 it was a 6-day job. Would not return calls and when myself or the body shop called they were rude.

    I don’t know how a company like this gets licensed. Never ever had to deal with such a terribly ran company. I did learn next time I will go through my insurance company and let them deal with it. Horrible!!!!!!

    Worst claims department. They are little help.

    It has been a month since the car wreck. Now they are saying the claim is on hold because their customer won’t answer the calls when it was a hit and run.

    Would give it a zero if I could.

    While I am not a customer, a customer of theirs hit and ran on me and it is nothing short of pulling teeth to get someone to answer their phones or emails with this company. Persistence pays and keep calling to get someone on the phone.

    receipts I submitted over a month ago are still not paid, lots of turnover and ZERO follow up except when can we pick up your totalled car. They did not even want to pay for the rental car as long as I had it a daily fight to keep getting 2-day extensions.

    I am waiting on the money from you. I had to track down the police report etc. I did all of the contacting and fighting for my claim. ZERO help from anyone on your end.

    I been trying to get hold of the adjuster for the past month 2/09/2015 now it’s 3/20/2015 no answer and they don’t give me any information on my car. it’s been a month and what sucks it’s a total loss and I still have to pay for the car. Claims adjusters for this company take their sweet time.

    Worst company ever. Does anyone have a phone number where I could report this BS….

    This company sucks, they do not have one employee working there who knows what they are doing. No one answers the phone, they may call you back in a week or so after leaving many messages. You have to do all of the faxing and other paperwork yourself.

    They claimed their fax was not working so they could not fax my paperwork and when it comes to settling the claim watch out they say one thing and do another.

    My car was totaled. Someone hit and ran they did not pay what they said they were, leaving me with the tab.

    All I can say is if you have this insurance company or plan to get it you will be setting yourself up for a lot of problems if you are involved in a car accident

    Had a drunk hit my house, have called the agent several times and keep getting wrong information on how to send them claim paperwork. Wrong fax numbers…etc. Time to let my insurance handle it..

    Not playing games. You can tell it is not their house with a hole in it… Never again do I hope to cross paths with the company…

    They never answered the phone worse company to deal with.. I try canceling and they still draft from your account and you don’t get your money back..
