Worst Auto company insurance to be with.
I Had an accident 3 months ago. They don’t care about the customer. They don’t follow up with you on your claim. Every time I called them there always busy.

I have had anchor general when I first moved out on my own and my first getting my own insurance so I wanted something that I can afford. I have been a member for 5 years with no accident to start or have in between..
When I did get into my first accident that I was a victim of, I didn’t know what to do react for first time accident except to call your insurance. Not once did they help what to do but number to call and giving me instruction to call the other person insurance company to file a claim, basically I did all the work and they treated me as if it was my fault for the accident and left dry..
When it came down to my car to fix it or call it a total, it only took a 5-second look to call it a total.. I’m just bothered the fact he didn’t do a full inspection appropriately, but at the same time for five years there was some kind of flaw in my insurance that I had no idea I had and I would had never signed up if mentioned ( but was never said anything about this in the beginning ) ..
Basically the flaw was that I had not just the deductible to pay but pay a third or so of what I owe from my vehicle and some.. NO, second choices pick from what to do for situation to help me, just no open suggestion on help whatsoever.. ALL I HEARD WAS BASICALLY MONEY I DIDN’T HAVE TO SPEND AND OWE THEM FROM MY INCIDENT THAT I DID NOT HAVE FAULT IN..
Very bad service no compassion to beginner or long time customers .

MISERABLE!
Their insured rear-ended my truck…calling to file a claim took three tries (over 30 minutes hold on each call!) with 2 of the three disconnected before actually speaking to anyone. Given the run-around before even opening a claim (“Oh, she may not be covered” – “we are waiting on the registration information” – “we are waiting on the sales information” – really? She admitted fault to you, she has liability insurance, she was in a covered vehicle, what’s with the runaround?
If I could give them a negative number I would. If you are unfortunate enough to be involved with them, call the Insurance Commissioner’s office and use your own insurance and let them beat the money out of Anchor.
They should be shut down in CA.
