My brother died in 1994 and left a life insurance policy. AXA Equitable could have easily found me, the beneficiary, but made no effort to do so until sued for this practice.

Now, 19 years later, they want to pay the policy off with a paltry 3% a year interest, NOT COMPOUNDED, though they have certainly profited much more than this by their practice of failing to notify beneficiaries.

    Shame on them.
