If I could give a minus stars…I would…
I was forced to give a one star before I could submit my review. I would not recommend this insurance company to anyone. I put this company on the map…been with you for 30 years. As long as you pay into the bank…you can be a customer. When you withdraw from the bank…you get cancelled.
I think it should be against the law for insurance companies to take your money and then cancel your insurance when you need it back. That’s the whole reason we take out insurance, isn’t it?

I agree. I would give negative stars.
My husband was hit by a customer of this HORRIBLE insurance company back in September. We still have not been compensated for the damages. They have told us three different times the check is in the mail. They even went as far as to tell us it was overnighted.
There are too many insurance companies available to give these rats and con artist your business!!!!!!!! I will let everyone know what a horrible company they are!!!!!!!!!!!

they may be cheaper but they will try to screw you when you have a claim. They use a 3rd party adjusting company, The Littleton Group and they low ball you on everything.. bad customer service from both companies..

Couldn’t be more satisfied.
After my accident, the company responded quickly and the adjuster guided me through the process. Very professional. Payment was fair. Good experience.

Nothing but the run around (i.e. need more receipts, receipts never received..need more info never told me clean-up came out of my contents..or I would have done it myself). Do they own the clean-up company??? Very poor customer service.. I consider this elderly abuse.
Has been one year.. are they waiting for us to die??? What a joke I am filing a report with the Texas insurance agency.

I’m so sure the people saying the bad things had absolutely NOTHING to do with their horrible experiences. Insurance companies are there to put a person back to the place they were 1 second before the horrific event that caused the person to file a claim…..nothing more.
It’s not an insurance company’s job to pay one penny more or to make someone rich off of their claim. This company and so many others are reputable and provide protection that people can’t afford to provide themselves. Perhaps if the naysayers would change their own attitude about how insurance functions, then they would have a better outcome.
It’s not a welfare check, slot machine or magic lottery ticket folks.

We have had our insurance coverage with Hochheim for many years and they have been a really good company to deal with. They have always been there for us when we needed them and they have been very prompt and fair with their claim service.
I would highly recommend them.

We have had Hochheim Prairie for over 15 years. They are a great company and great to deal with when it comes to claims. We have only had a few fender benders and a home glass claim over the years but they were very nice to deal with.
I would recommend to everyone.

I sent in my payment early during the holidays, not knowing how the mailing situation would be and being a responsible bill payer. I noted on the CHECK please do not cash before the due date. THEY DID, of course.
So when I called to complain and inquire, I was shoved to a voicemail and received a call a week later. When I got the return call, I was asked, well why did you mail it in early? Why did you want it to be held? What is it you want me to do about it now? We are too busy to read every payment that comes in, we have a machine that opens the payments and we don’t have the time to review each and every individual’s payments.
HOWEVER, if it were short or late they certainly would have the time to mail me a notice of cancellation or another bill. So why is that the case, I’m the one in the wrong for mailing my payment in two weeks early during the holiday in hopes to make sure it gets there on time but I’m in the wrong according to the TWO women I spoke with because they were too busy to read a person’s check. But they have time to post the payment to my account????
I’m changing companies, My house, My boat, My vehicles.
