    Claims rep… Just a bean counter. Does not have your interests at heart. Just wants to get rid of you at the lowest cost to company and without regard for your driving record or if you rates will go up.

    I have been an insured with them for over 20 years, and now I cannot recommend them. Beware!!!

    I paid my policy in full $169.00 on 25 Oct. National General Cancelled my policy on 9/30 for nonpayment when in fact my bank statement shows the account was paid. National General states that my bank returned my payment when in fact my bank says this is bogus.

    I faxed my bank statement to National General Ins. The agents only want to accept a comment on my insurance that I have not paid my account and not accept my proof of payment.

    If you can find a different insurance company then run don’t walk.

    I have never worked with such b******* as I have encountered at NGIC. They lied to me about their insured’s property limits and pressured me to sign a settlement quickly based on that lie. They then repeatedly covered up that lie and when I asked about it, called it a “mistake.”

    I have asked for punitive damages based on bad faith but they claim they did nothing wrong. They are dishonest and shady. Avoid them at all costs.

    This insurance company is a joke.

    We had our car damaged by one of their customer’s and it has been a hassle the entire time. Our car is still in the shop because of this and now they are saying since we took it to a body shop of our choice they are no longer going to pay for the rental car which is needed. Nothing like having a choice about something You paid for.

    I would not ever consider getting any kind of service from this company.

    The customer service is absolutely horrible.

    I had to deal with Erin Cartee, who was very rude and unprofessional! She lied about taking care of an extension for my rental, then proceeded to try and charge me for it!

    I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau!

    I would give them 0 stars if I could.

    It’s been 5 months since my accident, I was rear-ended. They told me they sent me out a check for my accident, they haven’t. When calling to find out the status of the check they said they never sent one out. They never call back, they never pick up the phone when I call (multiple times a day).

    They assigned me 4 different people so far to my case. My vehicle still hasn’t been fixed. Now they tell me they aren’t covering me because my girlfriend, who has the policy, stays with me and doesn’t live at her residence listed under the policy.

    Bottom line, go with a better company. I have AAA and have never had an experience like this. AAA will cover me if N.G. won’t since I have full coverage.

    5 months of going back and forth and still getting nowhere, this is a very unprofessional company.

    There are not enough hours in the day to recount all of the hassles I have dealt with over the past year and a half…A few months ago someone hit my parked car and it took over a month to get any repairs done.

    They told me damages were covered by the other driver, and when I tried to drop my car off for repairs I find out that the driver actually wasn’t insured and there was no work order for repairs. I had to wait another few weeks and set up an estimate again. I still to this day haven’t talked to the claim adjuster who screwed all that up, it was a goose chase to do anything.

    Several times they have double charged me for my monthly payment, and other times their auto-pay doesn’t work and they can’t process my payment and I spend another hour on the phone with someone trying to get the late fee taken off.
