    This insurance is awful. It barely covers anything and bends over backward to avoid paying for the services they do cover.

    I would subtract the stars that they’ve already gotten if I could.

    Pan America SCAMSURANCE up to 500 dollars on any major medical and 100 for ER 70 dollars for office visit plus I have to pay 19 dollars to be seen. Really? and what sucks is my Union CUHW are paying these guys 200 a month not counting the 20 a month from each member.

    I smell a RAT! but hey it’s my own Opinion. TWENTY NEGATIVE stars they didn’t cover my wives meds told us to sign up for welfare, I’m not kidding!!!

    This company has rude customer service and won’t pay for anything. They even tell you don’t have insurance anymore, that they are not considered insurance under the Affordable Health Act.

    I am cancelling immediately.

    I am a member of this insurance company, and I have to say that it’s not a good company and I pay $60 every 2 weeks and every time I have to have tests done, I have to pay out-of-pocket, $200-$300 dollars upfront before the hospital will do anything, What kind of insurance is that.

    They just rip you off for all that you have and give nothing in return. My advice to anyone thinking to get this, go somewhere else.

    The doctor list is so old and outdated most are retired or moved can’t find a doctor, and as others have said they cover nothing.

    This company is a fraud and I am suing them. They are not legit.

    An Insurance commissioner told me they are a fraud.

    They only paid 35.00 of my preventative care appointment, which should have been 100% covered, per my employee handbook. Even if the appointment weren’t a routine visit, they should have still paid 60.00, and not 35.00, according to the handbook provided by my employer. They will do anything to avoid paying.

    I pay 30.00 a week for this “insurance”, and it would have been cheaper to just have no insurance and pay out of pocket. don’t ever get this company as a provider. I have no idea how they stay in business or how they are not being sued for charging for preventative care in violation of the ACA.

    Negative star ratings here to infinity!

    Supposedly they upped their plan to meet ACA for 2015. Wrong! The posters above share the exact same story as I was going to share. For my family of 3, I pay $163.89 bi-weekly.

    My employee handbook and the Pan’s literature preach a different tune compared to what they will actually cover when you even dare try to use it.

    I’m supposed to be grateful that they covered $70.00 dollars over a near $400.00 bill after I already paid just over $1,600.00 to date in payroll deductions for having their services??

    I’m not sure how there isn’t a class action lawsuit against them, to be honest.

    Stay very clear of these frauds! You’ll just be lining their pockets for a coupon coverage!

    Been with the company for over five years and they haven’t paid on claims in two years. It’s the only one offered by my employer. I finally went to the state’s insurance commissioner, filed a complaint, and am waiting to hear from them.
