    Our son had an accident with an insured person through this company. When we contacted them about getting his car fixed the company kept delaying a response. Now they are trying to tell us that the insured is being investigated and they don’t know if they will pay out anything.

    After representing to us that they were the insurer I think it’s horrible that they are now hiding behind some excuse as to why they may not pay us! Watch out for these people. They don’t seem to care about integrity!

    It’s a shame when insured’s fail to comply with insurance laws and pay their premiums. Not only do they hurt others physically, but financially as well. In the review cited by Paul, the insured is being investigated which can mean many things.

    They failed to pay their premium, allowed another to drive the vehicle when the insurance would not transfer, or numerous other reasons. In the heat of the moment, Peachtree Casualty Insurance is thought of as being the “Bad Guy” when they are performing their due diligence.

    Since Peachtree must settle claims that they are legally obligated to, they are also held accountable by investors, shareholders, and other insured’s to not simply pay a claim when they shouldn’t. Integrity is doing the right thing. Is it right to pay a claim when the circumstances don’t warrant the indemnification?

    Fortunately, most insured’s plan ahead for when they might get hit by an uninsured motorist and take out additional insurance to cover them in this circumstance. It may prove more reasonable to allow the claims department to fully investigate a claim, as it sounds like they hadn’t come to any conclusion. Let’s be fair and wait to pass judgement.

    All the facts need to be examined in order to make a fair assessment of any claim.

    Sounds like Adam works for the company. Pat insurance answers which could be true. However, after a reasonable period, certainly, no more than two weeks, call the Georgia Insurance Commissioner. Or, if size of loss fits small claims court, file suit for damages and pay the $25 filing fee.

    The company is obligated to defend the suit and has to answer the suit in 30 days (usually) or lose by default. Then if they don’t pay up in a reasonable time, sue the company directly and ask for punitive damages.

    Don’t take this crap. And don’t buy insurance from these people.

    Just like Paul, I was in an accident with someone insured by this company (she was driving the wrong way on a divided 4 lane highway) and I’ve called to get the claim number and they basically told me that the lady doesn’t pay enough for them to cover the car expenses. I think my insurance is going to cover it then go after them to get my money.

    They are the worst people to have to deal with, they stall in every way shape and form. It’s always 24 to 48 hours before we’ll get back to you. It’s been one month and I am still without a vehicle. My vehicle was totaled all information had been sent to them and they tell me that the postal service has not delivered the mail to them.

    On top of that the claims rep…David Alexis took off on vacation and passed it on to his supervisor (Rick Snelling) and he blames someone else for the payment for my total loss on someone else. They have been stalling for one month….and people wonder why insurance companies are sued…..

    Adam, why don’t you tell us how many UM policies this crappy insurance company writes? People that call this company are looking for just enough insurance to be legal. Most people don’t cover themselves and have that type of forethought. Those people are the insureds of Peachtree Insurance.

    You take their premium and leave the rest of us high and dry. Your whole spiel about “indemnification” is laughable. If this insurance company or any for that matter, cared as much for their insureds as they do on spending money telling their insurers how much they care, this wouldn’t be an issue.

    You fight tooth and nail to allow as little money as possible out of your insurance treasure chest even when the indemnifying is warranted. This company writes terrible policies. It is a fact. When hit by a Peachtree insured you very rarely see a BI policy.

    God help you when attempting to resolve mere property damage issues. You’re a bad company who subjects good people to no recourse when hit by your insureds.

    I am a single mom. I saved up and paid off both my vehicles to be able to lower my insurance. I mean why pay full coverage on a 5 yr old vehicle with miles of taking 3 kids all over the place.

    My oldest son was rear ended by a Peachtree driver. We were contacted by Peachtree and ask to take our SUV to a local dealership for assessment. And now they refuse to answer or return my calls when I leave a message on voicemail.

    This is absolutely the most useless company I have ever dealt with. Not to mention they must insure anyone there driver told my son not to call the police cause he had been drinking. He didn’t even stop..how can you not see a suv. The accident happened over a month ago. What is there to investigate? My case is pretty cut and dry. Rear-ended at a stop sign. No sign of braking on the other drivers part.

    Peachtree insurance company..it’s simple. You’re a sorry company. Do us all a favor and take responsibility when your drivers are at fault!!!

    Can’t reach anyone at 9:45am on a Monday? No one answers the phone, get recorded message to call back during normal business hours (9:30am – 5pm), which I did.

    What a joke !!!! BEWARE !!!!!

    My car was hit while parked and they were covered by peachtree. First, it took forever to call me then they sent me to the collision center that they were affiliated with. The collision center was quick with the estimate but when I tried calling Peachtree they kept telling me that they were going to send the message to the adjuster.

    It’s been almost three weeks and no one hasn’t returned any of my calls…sounds a little scamming going on with this company.

    I was rear ended by someone who has this insurance while sitting in traffic on the highway which caused us to hit the car in front of us. The driver who hit us going over 50 mph without braking got his car and ran from the scene. I was injured and have had several trips to the Hospital since then.

    I have tried with no avail to contact someone from this insurance company only to be told that there is no number that they can give me to the main office and I will get a call within 4 hours. Yeah right! I’m still waiting on that call I am left without choice but to take this court.

    Do not get this insurance! What kind of insurance company doesn’t have a telephone number to their main office? It sounds like pure bull to me. They can avoid me all they want, but they can’t ignore a subpoena.

    I gave this company my bank information so my payments are taken out of my account. When I called to confirm if the payment was made, they said it wasn’t even setup. So who has my bank info???

    My advice… if they have your bank info, keep an eye on the account.

    I was hit by an individual who had this company as his insurance. After getting the information through the police report and trying to set up the claim, I was told numerous times that an adjuster would call me to set up an appraiser to see my damaged vehicle. That was 6 months ago!!! I have yet to hear from anyone from this gangster company.

    If you are hit by someone with this company be careful and hope you have your own coverage to take care of you. Not even worth rating a star.

    Trash!!! this company is PURE GARBAGE!

    The adjuster sent me to a collision center who does not work with them! Neither the adjuster, Brandon Rodriquez nor his supervisor Kristy Turley return phone calls.

    There is absolutely no customer service. I called the 800 number and was on hold for two hours and which time it disconnected my call! The accident occurred last Tuesday and here it is Monday and I haven’t gotten one step closer!!

    My car was hit by a driver who has this insurance company but the insurance was in the brother’s name. However, when I called and spoke to Aaron the Claims Specialist at time of the accident he assured me that the driver and car was covered.

    But then I get a call from Jessica Fuentes telling me the driver’s insurance was cancelled on August 18th..but he bought car on July 16, 2014, so how could his insurance be cancelled that fast..but then she proceeds to tell me that the driver restarted the policy on August 23rd..

    sounds like a scam….PLEASE DON’T EVER BUY THIS INSURANCE. Time to get a lawyer.

    My car was hit by someone with this insurance company. It has been sitting in a shop for two weeks. The shop is STILL waiting for authority from the insurance company to do the repairs. I cannot reach the adjuster over the phone and the email address is no longer good.

    Minus minus minus rating. This company is pathetic.

    My car was hit in a parking lot by someone insured by this company on 6-1-15. Had estimates from 3 different companies one of which Peachtree Casualty sent me to. All 3 companies stated the bumper should be replaced. However, from pictures, PC said it could be repaired.

    Every time I have called I have left a message and of course no returned calls. Finally after placing a complaint with the Insurance Commissioner of Georgia they gave the go ahead to replace the bumper.

    Took my car into the collision center this morning. We were supposed to have a rental reservation with Hertz but guess what no reservation. Fortunately, my husband took me to the rental company so I had a ride home. I have left 3 messages this morning concerning the car rental and yes — no return call.

    You just wonder how a company this SORRY could stay in business! If you are unfortunate and you are involved in an accident with someone insured by this company, go through your own insurance company and let them deal with Peachtree Casualty and save yourself a lot of stress and headaches!

    Mother was hit by a Peachtree driver, was struck from behind. The other driver was cited, I sent all of the information to the PeachTree rep who is handling the case.

    Still nothing back and it’s been over a month. I am tired of this and think that my lawyer will have to finish this up.

    Peachtree is a scam.

    My car was damaged by someone who is “insured” by this company. They have made 1 single attempt to contact me about my claim, and I now have to pay MY insurance 100 dollars more per month because Peachtree has failed to compensate me for the damages made to my vehicle.

    I also had to pay a 500 dollar deductible to have my vehicle repaired. I’m paying out of pocket for damages that should have been paid for by this “insurance” company.

    THE PEACHTREE CASUALTY INSURANCE COMPANY IS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL, IT’S A SCAM, AND ANYONE WHO HAS HAD DEALINGS WITH THEM CAN BACK ME UP ON THIS.

    I am still trying to get things figured out when their client hit my truck. It has been 3 months since the accident which their client outright admitted to the officer it was his fault for driving recklessly. It damaged my truck and a wheel which cannot be replaced. They’re offering to pay for 1 wheel (which leaves me footing the bill for 3 more or having mismatched wheels).

    Chris Perri is the appraiser “working” with me right now. I told him if they can’t replace the one then they need to replace all 4 as I want my truck fixed and with 4 matching, non-damaged wheels. He replied with: “We’ve issued a supplement payment for the value of the wheel that you may use as you wish.” which still leaves me unable to get my truck the way it was before their careless client hit me. And of course, they waited until 10 min before they close today to send the e-mail so that I couldn’t contact the same day.

    Oh, and I went 12 days no contact since they were told by the repair shop that it’s unable to be repaired (the shop called me after they spoke to Peachtree). I had to contact them. I think they would rather have you wait and hope you forget that actually do their job of fixing my d*** truck!
