Co. just raised by homeowners rates by 50% and added a $5000.00 deduct on wind and hail. I live in north TX and have had no claims.

I’m in Texas as well and just had my home insurance go up from $1200 a year to $5500 per year! No notice…no warning…just BAM…a $600 per month increase on my mortgage payment.

I think we are victims of Redlining. It is Illegal!!

    Raised their rates, no notice.

Additionally, they drag their feet getting paperwork to the client.

    Not impressed.

This company is also better known as Homesite Homeowners insurance directly married to Pacesetter claims. I found out the hard way that Homesite is a very dishonest group of both field and so-called desk adjusters.

Here’s the deal I switched from a big name honest insurance company to save money. I made a huge mistake going to Progressive.

I had no clue until I filed a homeowners claim that Progressive sold out my policy/contract. My claim is four months old and nothing has been settled. All I get is the run around. I should never have trusted Progressive. When I spoke with them I was never informed about Homesite as my new homeowner policyholder.

I went on the internet and read all of the horrible reviews from other screwed customers. Homesite is corrupt and will find any way possible to deny or prolong a claim. They use strong arm and demeaning talk to hopefully make a claim go away.

Pay your premium on time and if you should have a claim talk down to you like a thug. They have no clue how to treat a customer with a claim. I have been treated like many others I have read reviews from as though I am attempting to steal their money. Homesite if and when they ever pay a claim will be very little.

Don’t be mislead and make a huge mistake purchasing a policy from this company. Everyone that I have spoken with at Homesite with exception of outside field adjusters are mean and dishonest. I have turned several complaints to the Texas Attorney Generals Office and State Board of Insurance. What I have found out hiring a Private Investigator is more than alarming.

Collect your hard earned money than screw you out of a insurance claim. Log on to Homesite Complaints on the internet. I found out the crook desk adjuster now handling my claim is not licensed to work in Texas. Closing the best way to describe Homesite is a debt collection company and not a company who wants to help at a time of need.

I will add if you do get LUCKY and get any money for a claim expect a long investigation before one cent is paid. This company reminds me of a old Mafia movie. I am rounding up other victims to start a class action lawsuit. Filing a lawsuit would help by requesting discovery of all their records and claims made to Homesite.

I have over one hundred others who have reached out to me by social media, Get involved today you don’t have to take it because you are not alone. We can stand together and make a change. I have reached out to the local news with my story and a really good attorney. Thank you
