    I am beyond being FURIOUS about your letter, telling me I have been enrolled in your CVS Caremark (PDP)…without MY knowledge nor permission! Just WHO authorised this enrollment, and why?

    I intend to shake up a few people for this gross invasion of personal privacy!

    I was also enrolled without any permission or knowledge of it. Because of this unlawful act, I was dropped from my regular insurance, (AARP Medicare Complete).

    You should be held accountable for this action. Do not do this again!!! without my permission.

    These scam artists need to be investigated.

    I was on hold for 80 minutes and never spoke to a human being. The most awful music (played non-stop with occassional interruption of recorded voice saying my call would be answered in the order it was received.

    My mother received a bill from this company and she did not sign up for it and now when I call all I get is a busy signal from every number that they have. Is this what they do to everyone that is on medicare if so that is not right.

    I just enrolled with Silver Script part D. I think I made a mistake. I called them today and was on hold for over an hour. Never did get an answer. Don’t know what to think. My next call is the Illinois department of insurance.

    Horrible customer service, conflicting ID numbers, their CEO should be focusing on their customer service, not be Rah RAhing it to stockholders.

    I could barely give them 1 Star but had to in order to comment.

    My father was “transferred” to Silverscript by his former employer as they unexpectedly release their retirees from further care. Silverscript has the worst customer service that I have ever encountered and we still aren’t finished with the enrollment process after 4 hours of calls, over 2 hours of which was hold time over a period of a week!

    Seeing that others have issues is a relief so we can cancel and move on tomorrow. It’s a company based on service and we can’t seem to get ANY!

    This company is incompetent.

    I am both a physician having to deal with the company and a patient with this part D insurance. When you call them you will be on hold at least one hour. They couldn’t look me up by my number and when they entered my name the computer crashed. They said no denial showed up on their computer when I was holding the prior authorization denial in my hand. There is a “Z” in my member number and their voice recognition software can’t understand Zs, calling it 3 or zero.

    I filed a complaint with Medicare, which was filed as urgent, but haven’t heard anything.

    I am a retiree and my company selected Silver Script to handle our prescription for 2013. My spouse changed over to medicare on 1/1/13 but Silver Script cannot get her account set up. I have spoken with 15 employees of Silver Script and they cannot seem to get this situation accomplished.

    I find your company totally inefficient and incompetent.

    Was scammed when I called customer service and had to cancel my credit card because of it.

    When I first signed up it took 3 months to get card and formulary.

    Now nearly 7 months in and they have not made the monthly premium deduction from my checking account or sent me a bill.

    Gross incompetence from day one.

    Worst customer Service EVER!!!

    Spent from December of 2012 till Feb of 2013 trying to get my mom on the right plan. the put her on the most expensive plan to start with and she was suppose to be on the mid grade. After probably 20 calls to Silverscript, the finally got it right.

    Then we had to go back and deal with social security to get the billing squared away. I was assured by several supervisors at Silverscript(after it continuously got screwed up by silverscript) months ago this was all taken care of. Now in Sept of 2013, my mom gets a bill for 80 some odd dollars that she says.

    So I call to get to see why she is getting billed again. Makes no sense. I asked for the girl’s supervisor. Chris C in North Carolina, who tries to explain to me why she is getting billed but cannot explain why their company is so incompetent.

    I told him I still disagree and thought the company should write off the 80 ish dollars since we have been dealing with their nonsense since Dec of 2012. He sternly stated that would not happen and offered to transfer me to the billing dispute department.

    When I asked him for his supervisor, he refused, saying his supervisor did not talk to people. I worked in customer service for almost 10 years.

    This has been some of the WORST customer service I have ever encountered!!

    When my father’s former employer switched to this company we called to find out how to get my name on his account as his POA. I sent it and verified by phone that it was recorded. Sounds good!

    Many months later I had to call with a question and told I was not on his account. Was told to FAX the POA and given number. Done. Called to verify, told they would not accept by FAX, had to mail to address in Arizona.

    Just called to verify, told I had to send to address in Tennessee. WHAT?!?!?!?!?

    I’m not happy with customer care. They can’t seem to answer any questions.

    They keep telling me they have problems with their billing (same thing they told me last year!!) and I should just wait to receive a bill.

    Nothing they say helps and they don’t seem to understand the problem. Useless!!!

    We had the same miserable experience that other have reported. They switched my wife from the “choice” PDP plan to the much more expensive “Plus” plan without our authorization.

    I’ve been trying to get them to resolve the problem, but they give me a different message each time I call. And lately, they’ve been putting me on hold repeatedly.

    I am surprised to see the problems. I was told Silvercript was ending or being bought out so I changed to AARP, afterwards I found that AARP & Silvercript were merging? Still not sure about that.

    I’ve had Silvercript for a long time and never had a problem with Silvercript. I picked up my prescriptions, the co-pay is very low and they have seemed to do their job well. I have not had to deal with them about a problem. I have recently changed to AARP and now I’m having problems & co-pays are high.

    Look before you change and know what you’re getting into. I’m still dealing with AARP and hope it will get better. Good luck and God Bless.

    My mother had Silverscript for prescriptions. Following her death I neglected to cancel bill pay to them for her premium for several months. So today I spoke iwth them about getting that money back. It took them one hour and 17 minutes to tell me that they had refunded me half of that money (which her bank has no record of) and that I would need to have one of three documents, all requiring me to hire an attorney to have drawn up, for them to consider refunding the part of money they say they owe. I\’m not sure why they didn\’t require this when they supposedly refunded half of it. The woman on the phone knew very little and provided me with several sets of wrong instructions before coming up with this final set that I have shared here. In sum, the money will remain with them (because it would cost me more than it is worth to get it back) and they know that. Seems like thievery to me, pure and simple. Avoid this company at all costs. If zero stars were possible that is what I would give them.

    Medicare regulates SilverScript and even shut them down once last year due to complaints. Complain at and also call Medicare at 800-633-4227.

    I can verify that all the negative reviews are true from my short time in dealing with silverscript. It seems that all their employees are new and have no idea about what is and isn’t covered. It is total mayhem dealing with them.
