This is the worst insurance company I have ever had to deal with. I don’t understand how an insurance company does not have a 1-800 number available 24 hours a day like all other insurance companies do.
In my opinion this company needs to be closed down!

This insurance is screwing me over a claim I made. I pay full coverage and have a 500 dollar deductible and because of a little rust under my truck, they are trying not to pay their part.
they say one day it probably eventually will need to be replaced anyways but nothing was wrong before I wrecked it. And really when I got the insurance I didn’t sign any papers saying they won’t cover stuff they didn’t feel like covering I pay my insurance every month and I am never late nor have I ever made a claim before it just isn’t fair.
I think everyone should at least know what they are doing to me cause I deserve my truck fixed and I pay my deductible like it is suppose to be.

My daughter was hit by this company’s insured……called and got the GREAT Lawanda as the agent! What a big JOKE of a company! And how very unprofessional Lawanda is!
This company is so bad as far as customer service and so far here we are 5 days in and already no rental car and no claim filed yet because they can’t get a hold of their own insured to verify that she DID hit my daughter and that indeed is their insureds fault!
After being treated poorly, I asked to speak to her supervisor Alice. Oh, what another pleasant and oh so NOT helpful person!

My only experience with southern General has been the worst of any company yet.
An insured customer hit my vehicle on 3/28/14 and I had to call about the claim myself. Adjuster shows up 4/7 then no contact until I call 5/5/14. Claims adjuster informs me he can’t get a police report online. I very UN calmly told him to pick up the phone and call them. It can be done. Not EVERYthing has to be online.
Now it’s 5/13/14 and no word from the company. Next move I guess is to get the insurance commission and a lawyer. So much trouble for a small claim.

I would have to rate this company at a negative number because of the treatment I have received. The claims adjuster for this company was very rude and not knowledgeable of their insurance policy. The coverage is a joke.
I was hit by someone who has full coverage with this company like I do and I was told that I had to pay a deductible even though I wasn’t at fault. I am confused because I have never had to do this before with any other insurance company so beware of this company.

Bad customer service!!!! My car was rear-ended by a truck insured by this company. The agent Jim assigned to my claim hung up on me the first time we spoke. Called back several times only able to leave one VM.
I then called a 1 800 number and spoke with his supervisor Robert Beartooth and he did not appear anymore concerned but did connect me to Jim. Jim stated the company accepted liability but say they have not been able to contact the policy owner. They suggested that I go through my insurance.

Southern general GA is a joke the lady by the name of Aisha Parker Total Loss Adjuster has played phone tag and does not answer her phone and says she will call you at a certain and does not. This is an open and shut case never got a rental had to rent my own car now they are stalling by saying they will only pay 30 a day for a rental.
6 months have passed.They have been turned into BBB. I did get a phone call back from someone saying they would check into the problem nothing yet 2 weeks have gone by now.
