Have called several times and for strange reasons the calls made to the operator don’t go through… mysteriously it drops the calls or sends me back to the automated system.
The proposed water service line coverage from HomeServe is a RIP OFF. The buried underground water service line to properties does NOT fail unless the ground is dug up exposing the water line or it is above ground and subject to freeze damage.
No one should need this type of coverage since the probability of a “claim” is virtually impossible and owners should not be scared into buying such ridiculous insurance. The cost of the water service line coverage is a wasted expense that only benefits the insurance company.
This scam has been reported to our State Insurance Commissioner and HomeServe employees should be ashamed of ripping off the public during these difficult economic times.
